Epstein Survivors Share Abuse Stories in BBC Interview

In a BBC Newsnight discussion, Epstein survivors including Joanna Harrison and Chauntae Davies recounted abuse and interactions with Epstein's associates.

Survivors of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein gathered for a BBC Newsnight interview, sharing detailed accounts of their experiences. Joanna Harrison, whose identity was inadvertently revealed in recently released U.S. Department of Justice files, spoke publicly for the first time about the shame and embarrassment she felt after Epstein's assaults.

Harrison described meeting Epstein in Florida at age 18, where a massage session escalated to abuse. She recounted freezing during the incident and later being raped on Epstein's birthday, expressing doubt about ever getting justice since his death.

Group Discussion and Emotional Moments

Five survivors, including Harrison, Chauntae Davies, and Lisa Phillips, met for the first time during the interview. They reviewed photos from their encounters with Epstein, leading to tears and supportive gestures as they discussed grief and anger.

Davies shared previously unseen images from a 2002 trip to Africa on Epstein's private plane, which included Ghislaine Maxwell, actor Kevin Spacey, and former U.S. President Bill Clinton. The trip was for humanitarian purposes promoting AIDS prevention, but Davies described it as tainted by abuse behind closed doors.

Davies, a trained massage therapist, recalled giving Clinton a neck and back massage during a stop in Portugal and helping him buy jewelry for his daughter. Clinton has stated he did not witness Epstein's wrongdoing, and his name appears in related documents without implying guilt.

Survivors also addressed Epstein's New Mexico ranch, calling it eerie and a site of major assaults. New Mexico has reopened a criminal probe into the ranch based on recent allegations in the files.

Davies noted Epstein's boasts about connections, such as lending money to Sarah Ferguson, the former Duchess of York, and displaying photos of her family at his properties. Spacey has called for the full release of Epstein files, stating the truth cannot come soon enough for those with nothing to fear.
